Mathematics Behind A Kites By Eris

Hi welcome back to group 6s blog. Now for today we are going to talk about the mathematics behind kites. A lot of people did know this but kites involve kites. To make a kite, you have to find the length, width and the area of the kite, the altitude of the kite, the conversion of the kite and the measurment. You need to follow these mathamatical steps to build a kite. Group 6 has to make sure that they follow all these steps to be able to win the kite flying contest next week. Well that's it for now come back to read more blogs by group 6 and Eris.

The Cool Styles For Kites By Eris

Hi welcome back to group 6s blog. Today we are going to talk about various styles of kites. Some styles of kites are a flat,bowed,cellular,multi-line, foighters and flexible, figure, soft, and stracts and trains. These are all types of varius kites. All these kites seem really artisitic to group 6 because of the shapes and colers. Eris really like the fighter and flexible kite because it tells you that this type of kite is brave to fighting in a war or something like that. Eris asked his group and they said that they alos liked the fighter kite. They had the same reasons that Eris had.  Well that's it for now come back blogs! And remember you ca for more group 6sn make crazy stuff like this.

The Science Of Kites By Eris

Hello and welcome back to Eris's blog! Today we are going to discuss the physics behind flying a kite. Some physics are Lift vs. Gravity, Drag, Dihedarl, Roll vs. Pitch vs. Yaw. These are some physics. "Before you begin you have to understand the basics. A single-line kite forms a stable and self-adjusting system while in flight. The air sometimes creates lift and the kite rises. I think that's pretty cool because there's a single line kite that forms a stable and a self-adjusting system while in kite. Group 6 could probably be able to accomplish that. Well that's it for today thanks for reading.

The Best Weather Conditions For kites By Carlos

Hello everybody thanks for coming back to carlos blog.In this part of the blog we talk about" the great type of weather for flying a kite." In my opinion i predict the best weather condition is a windy and a sunny day.You probably thinking to yourself why would this person pick that type of weather when everybody knows the best weather is a sunny day,but not for kites because it cant fly with out strong wind or any type of wind.

The reason why I chose those type of weather was because the good weather to fly kites is a windy day because the wind could lift the kite in air a fly for a couple of hours. And the cause of the kite flying for a couple of hours was because the kites open space could cause the kites to fly and the wind going throw the spaces. Always fly in this weather.
Not like this.

A Good Kite Weather By Eris

Hey welcome back. Today in group 6s blog we are going to talk about the weather conditions for flying a kite. A good day to fly a kite would be a nice and windy day. Kites get up in the air because of the wind. The wind makes the kite go higher than ever. It also should be a nice windy day because for example you want to fly your kite but its raining. The kite will come down because rain is heavy and that will bring your kite down. That's why Eris and group thinks that you should fly your kite on a nice windy day. Thank you for reading group 6s blog, come back to read more

The Kite Building Structure And Designs By Daniel

"you have a choice of which you make your kite about. box kite, eddy kite. fighter kite and a sled kite. choose wisely." hmm wonder what i should choose. I think a box kite would be great. so that means todays post is...............

DESIGNS AND HOW TO MAKE A KITE LOOK GOOD

Designs are the way to express yourself but in a whole different way. like a box kite is way different from a fighter kite. and it is also how you use the kite designs . say if your box kite is a shark and another fighter kite is a shark its not so special. Designs are supposed to also show your characteristics and who you are. it can also show how you feel.like putting a happy face about the election for president. or a sad face on the day of 9/11. they can be wacky with tie dye colors. and maybe you could put different kites together and make one big kite. Which is what we did so let me teach you how to make this awesome kite. so STEP 1 you need to make the skeleton of the kite
STEP 2 you need build a fabric layer to cover up the skeleton so it should look like this

STEP 3 fly away by attaching string to the end and wait for a breeze

A History Of Kites By Eris

Attention all young boys a girls, I now present to you the athlete Eris. Eris's admires sports but on the side of sports, nobody knows that Eris likes to fly kites. A lot of people do not know when kites where created but Eris does. Eris believes that kites were invented by Chinese general Han Hsin (206 B.C- 220 A.D).  During one military campaign, the general was said to have a kite flown above a besieged town to calculate the army. Well that's all we have for now, tune in for more blogs by Eris

And So It Begins..... By Daniel

You know I wonder what history does the kite have? Was it a signal. was it a sign to express something, because were going to talk about .................

                                                     THE HISTORY OF KITES

Now first up we have the first purpose of kites. Now we see kites as a toy but china sees the kite as a religion symbol. They believe in dragons so they make them out of a kite and have a celebration. The next purpose of kites was for military use in China. They would fly it in the air and calculate the distance between them and their enemy. Who made this idea Chinese general Han Hsin. So this spread-ed along Asia like the peanut butter on my jelly sandwich. So japan got a hold of it and used it to drive evil away from good farms. It was basically the dream catcher of japan in the Edo period. Well that's it for today folks come back for more in a few day because i am ready for the weekend

Where Are Your Standards? By Eris

Attention all young boys and I know present to you the athlete Eris.Eris loves to play sports such as basketball and baseball, but Eris really likes kites. Eris and his team are setting up goals to create the best kite in the whole school. But Eris and his team has to set up goals to get at that spot. Our goals are to measure the length and width of kite to see if its big enough and strong enough, our second goal is to think of a strategy that can help us focus enough to get this project finished in time. Our third goal is to not brake or mess up the materials so that we can use them long enough to make our kite look great. Well that's what Eris's blog is about, I hope u like it.

"CRUNCH" "CRUNCH" By Carlos

Hey everybody welcome back to Carloss' blog.Today in Carloss' blog we are going to  be talking about our theme for a kite. Carlos and his friends. Were  thinking of a kite theme when Eris came up with an amazing idea of the theme. The idea that Eris came up with was a shark because everyone in Carlos team voted for a shark. The reason that Carlos and Eris chose this theme was because they wanted something they never did before. And two other friend of Carlos named Oscar and Daniel voted for shark was because shark are amazing animal in many different way. Sharks are Carlos favorite animal because they have been living since the dinosaurs were around.A great title of the kite is kite that bite because shark bite and shark is
the main topic of Carloss' kites.

Liberty Is Key By Daniel

"KAKAW" "KAKAW"  its a bird! its a plane! Nope its a bird it just pooped on my new car. the funny part is that's the theme of my kite which symbolizes .............

                                            FREEDOM AND LIBERTY AND BIRDS

Birds BORING,wait don't go its more interesting than you think. If you know the bald eagle represents America. Also birds were used for messaging. they were the phones of the renaissance in Italy. Also most people that celebrate thanks giving eat a bird called a turkey. tasty right. We chose this theme to show how many people can be independent and stay true to themselves.Independence is a big thing in our country. That means immigrants and Americans can all be independent. We can also spread independence through out the world (And through the internet of course). But you always have to remember that being independent does not mean you must believe in a religion or do certain things. Also being independent does mean its all for you and about you, try to help others which makes you a good independent person.

A Start To Something New By Eris

Hi my name is Eris. I was born and raised in BK (Brooklyn). My birthday is on February 19,2002. One thing that I admire is basketball. Basketball is my favorite sport besides football and baseball. In my past I played for a couple of team. I played for Our Lady of Mount Carmel, ST.Cecilia and the On Point Rens. ST.Cecilia and the On Point Rens is the same team but with different coaches. I was coach by a guy names Billy. Billy trained me really well. I improved on my speed,my shot accuracy and my layup skills. Now that training really paid off. But besides basketball, one thing that I like to do is to collect Jordans and Nikes. I am really into sneakers and I have a lot of them. But my favorite type of sneakers is Jordans. I really like them because the owner of them is Michael Jordan. Baseball and Basketball is what I love to do.  That's my biography about myself.
